Each year, Domestic Violence Intervention pairs up with Churchill County School District to use a bus that will go to several of the schools in CCSD. Students are given an option to take the ‘Hands are not for Hitting’ pledge, then place their purple handprint on the bus. This year, Northside, Lahontan and EC Best schools participated in this campaign. A big THANK YOU to CCSD Transportation, principals, teachers, students, the Fallon Volunteers in Police Services and Students Taking On Prevention group for your assistance and support during DVI of Fallon’s ‘Hands Are Not For Hitting’ campaign! We appreciate you and couldn’t have done it without you!
