About Us
DVI, Inc., is a community-based, non-profit organization that focuses on helping adult victims of domestic violence and their children. We provide direct and indirect services to victims of domestic and sexual violence. We also provide education and advocacy which moves toward the eradication of domestic violence and sexual assault in our society.
Our History
Incorporated in 1982, DVI has continued to increase the quality of services provided for victims of domestic and sexual violence. In 1988, DVI opened the doors to its first shelter.
Our Mission
Domestic Violence Intervention, Inc., has the social responsibility to respond to the needs of those victimized by domestic violence through confidentiality, shelter, counseling, advocacy and general support services.
